Housekeeping Tasks

In order for students to compete, the following steps must be completed:

1. All parents must sign required forms in FinalForms (ex. Trip Activities Permissions, Activities Code of Conduct) before any student can compete.

2. All parents must pay our club fee of $160 when it is released late this week or early next week, before students compete. Students eligible for free or reduced lunch are exempt from the fee. 

3. Transportation will be provided for all students between Interlake and the tournament, departing Interlake at 3:10pm on Friday and 7:20am on Saturday from the front of the school. All novices (first-year students) must ride the bus to and from the tournament on both days. Returning parents who would like to drive their students should fill out the Driver Form.

4. We need some parents to help with judging at Bear Creek. If you are free to judge, please let your student know and they will sign you up to judge using our club portal. All judges need to be onsite at The Bear Creek School for all rounds on the day they are judging.

Judging Notes

• Please read the How to Judge document - it should contain all the information you need to judge. If you have any further questions, please email me or attend the Q&A session!

• Don't worry - you won't be judging the entire time. On Saturday, are ~2 hour breaks between rounds and food/drink is provided by the tournament in the Judge's lounge.

• On Saturday, some judges are able to leave early if our team does not make it to Semifinals or Finals in a certain event. We will always communicate if judges are able to leave early.
