Sharks Debate
Our innovative hybrid debate format that fuses Policy and Public Forum styles, targeted towards beginner debaters
Skill-based class placement ensures every student receives personalized instruction matched to their experience level
Debate will center around the January 2025 NSDA PF topic of single-use plastics, though debaters will also explore various topics through drills as they learn key skills
Students will learn essential research skills with guidance from our instructors
Drills and activites will develop public speaking & debate skills
A grand finale tournament where students will put their new skills to the test in an exciting camp-wide competition
Advanced PF Debate (offered based on demand)
For those with significant prior debate experience, an intensive, small-group camp session.
Learn from TOC-level adult and student instructors, prepare in-depth cases and blockfiles, and learn the basics of national circuit debate.
