The club attends three types of tournaments:
Local (WA)
Generally take place Friday 3pm-10pm and Saturday 8am-8pm in the Puget Sound area (within 90 min bus ride).
All events, novices and varsity attend. Provides WIAA WA State Championship qualifying bids.
Online:
Generally take place Friday 3-10pm, Saturday 8am-8pm, Sunday if advancing (some are Sat/Sun/Mon).
Provides UK Tournament of Champions qualifying bids. Event and participant levels vary.
Travel:
Same timeframe as online tournaments, but require extra travel days (typically Friday-Tuesday).
Only open to varsity. Provides high-level competition and UK TOC bid opportunities.
We offer 10+ local and online tournaments which are open to all students, as well as out-of-state travel tournaments and championships open only to experienced varsity.
Tournament Schedule
In order for students to compete, they need to have paid all club dues, completed all required forms via FinalForms, and we must have sufficient judging provided. Information about judging signups is communicated to students directly through our Teams server, though the list of judges can be found on the page for each tournament.
